Deep in the remote deserts of Utah, USA.
GMC Canyon
AKA The Wild West
Why it ruled:
The first Arcade shoot with GMC, Arcade Motion + Jake Dyson were brought to the table by Director and frequent collaborator Eric Crosland to lead the stills unit on this unconventional commercial shoot. To call it a commercial is generous, a desert takeover would be more apt.
The brief - follow 4 adventure influencers as they pushed the brand new GMC Canyon to its limits. No movie magic, or coffee, the concept relied entirely on the vehicles and crew rising to meet everything Utah could throw at them. Camping out in remote stretches of rugged Utah desert in order to capture sunrise and sunset shots, the crew quickly bonded against the elements and what began as a group of random humans quickly evolved into a tight knit family, one that would go on to produce countless shoots for this boundary pushing client.
